This project aimed to enhance user experience and accessibility while integrating the NSW Government’s Digital Design System. The successful redevelopment delivered a modern, user-focused, and WCAG-compliant digital platform. #### Objectives Key objectives included: - Implementing a consistent and accessible design system. - Migrating content without disrupting links. - Ensuring WCAG 2.2 AA compliance. - Streamlining navigation and integrating Funnelback search. 1 New Design System Based on the NSW Design System. Putting people first to us at FrontStage means: ### Simplifying the experience online and beyond - Clearer structure and landing pages to help users explore topics without confusion - Smarter search with filters, suggestions and in-page options - Content broken into easy-to-read formats using tabs, accordions and decision tools ### Supporting critical moments in people lives - Interactive tools guide users through key questions like “Have you been injured at work?” - Redesigned forms that are easier to complete during stressful times ### Making access fair for everyone - Multilingual support via Google Translate - WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility compliance - Mobile-first layouts that work on any device ### Building trust through quality and security - NSW Government branding ensures consistency and credibility - User data is protected through leading security standards - All resources are carefully migrated to maintain accuracy and links > This was way more than a technical upgrade. The website now offers improved navigation, accessibility, and a cohesive design. #### Feedback SIRA praised FrontStage Digital for their expertise, responsiveness, and ability to deliver under tight timelines. User feedback highlighted the intuitive design and improved functionality. #### Conclusion This project demonstrates FrontStage Digital’s ability to deliver complex government websites with a focus on accessibility, user experience, and effective collaboration.
